Ethan Canin, Fall 2002
Fiction writer Ethan Canin visited ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University on November 6 and November 7, 2002. Canin is the author of five books of fiction, most recently the novel Carry Me Across the Water, (Random House, 2001). Canin's other titles include The Palace Thief (Random House, 1996), Blue River (Houghton Mifflin, 1991) and For Kings and Planets (Random House, 1998). He currently divides his time between Iowa City and San Francisco.
Canin gave a reading from his most recent fiction on Wednesday, November 6 at 7 PM in Horrabin Hall. On Thursday morning, November 7 Canin discussed the craft of fiction in the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois Art Gallery at 10 AM. Both events were free and open to the public.
