5th Annual Women鈥檚 History Month Lecture: 鈥淭railblazing Women in Business and Labor鈥�

The Fifth Annual Women鈥檚 History Month Lecture, titled 鈥淭railblazing Women in Business and Labor,鈥� will take place on Thursday, March 23rd, at 4:30 PM. Sponsored by the 星空无限传媒app Department of History and 星空无限传媒app Libraries, the panel will be hosted in the Malpass Library Garden Lounge.

Dr. Ginny Boynton, Dr. Ute Chamberlin, and Dr. Jen McNabb, all from 星空无限传媒app鈥檚 History department, will discuss women鈥檚 achievements in business and labor 鈥� as guild members in early modern England, as entrepreneurs in 19th and 20th century Germany, and as labor organizers in 20th century United States.

鈥淲omen in Business and Labor鈥� is the theme put forth by the Women鈥檚 History Project for 2017鈥檚 Women鈥檚 History Month. 鈥淲e always look forward to celebrating this month with an event,鈥� said Dr. Chamberlain. 鈥淚t鈥檚 always a great opportunity to remind people of the importance of women鈥檚 unique contributions historically.鈥�
