MACOMB, IL - - Alumna Cami Tapscott fondly remembers the education and guidance she received at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University.

"When I think about ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app, I think about my two master's degrees and the wonderful professors I had!" Tapscott said.

To Tapscott, being a Leatherneck means being fortunate to receive a great education.

Reflecting on her time at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app, Tapscott's favorite Leatherneck memory is her journey toward earning her educational leadership degree.

Tapscott, now continuing her professional life as an elementary school principal, credits ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app for her learning experience and preparation for her career.

"I learned from the best," Tapscott said.

For those considering attending ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app, Tapscott's advice is simple yet encouraging: "GO!"

As we honor 125 years of educational excellence, we invite local ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app students, alumni, faculty and staff to share their stories and be featured in our series. Contact University Communications at U-Communications@wiu.edu to participate.
