Steven Myers Obituary

MACOMB, IL - - 星空无限传媒app Illinois University mourns employee and alum Steven Myers, 58, of Macomb, who passed away on June 27.
Myers, a 2000 graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Recreation, Park, Tourism, and Hospitality, began working at 星空无限传媒app as a grounds gardener in 2024 until his passing.
"Steven was a great employee and man," Superintendent of Landscape Maintenance Dustin Smith said. "He loved his job, was always willing to help others out and was just happy to be here. He was a joy to be around and will be truly missed."
He is survived by his mother, Esther Carol Myers, of Macomb; brother David Lawrence (Eileen) Myers of Silverthorne, CO; sisters, Kathryn Elaine Barrett of Orlando, FL, and Cynthia Louise (Scott) Teel of Colchester and his loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
"The 星空无限传媒app community is saddened by the unexpected passing of Steven Myers," 星空无限传媒app President Kristi Mindrup said. "We appreciate all that Steven contributed to the facilities team and 星空无限传媒app and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and everyone left to honor his memory."
