ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Alumna Simone Schuppan to Speak on Business, Purpose, and Entrepreneurship

ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University Business Administration alumna Simone Schuppan (‘02), Urban Bee Rancher and Founder & Managing Partner of C2Impact, will return to campus to share her expertise and experiences in business and entrepreneurship during two upcoming events hosted by ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app.

The first event, "Women in Business: Finding Your Voice in Business," will take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 in Stipes Hall 111. Schuppan will discuss how defining her values led her to transition from a long corporate career into entrepreneurship, and how identity, confidence and clarity of purpose have shaped her professional path. The event is sponsored by ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Women in Business.

The following day, Schuppan will present "From Boardroom to Beehive: Building Businesses with Purpose" from 2–3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 in Stipes Hall 121. This session, sponsored by the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app College of Business and Technology, will highlight how Schuppan integrates her passions for sustainability and business development through her consultancy and her work as a beekeeper.

Both events are open to the public. ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app students attending will also receive Purple & Gold Points for participation.
