Theatre and Dance Brings "The Lightning Thief" to the Stage

MACOMB, IL - - The ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University Theatre and Dance department will light up the stage with its performances of "The Lightning Thief" from Thursday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 19 at Hainline Theatre.
Evening shows will be held at 7:30 p.m. from Thursday Oct. 16 through Saturday Oct. 18, while matinee showings will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Oct. 19.
"The Lightning Thief" is based on the book of the same title by Rick Riordan and directed by ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app's Head of Musical Theatre Lysa Fox. When teenager Percy Jackson discovers he's a demigod, he and his friends embark on an epic journey in search of Zeus' stolen lightning bolt to prevent a war among the gods.
