Just Hired: Stephen Druse

Just Hired! Through the experiences of local, regional, national and international students, ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University has some incredible alumni who are changing the world in the workforce. This series will feature students from all over the world who are hired post-graduation.
MACOMB, IL - - Meet Stephen Druse, a graduate of the Recreation, Park & Tourism Administration program, who was hired by the National Park Service as part of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
Druse applied through , where he input his resume, cover letter, transcript and filled out a questionnaire. After going through with the interview via zoom, he was offered a job within that week.
"I learned a lot about cultural and natural resource interpretation from RTPA448," Druse said. "It helped me learn so much about conservation in Dr. Gruver's classes."
Druse also mentioned Dr. Owens, Dr. Robinett and Dr. Doh whose classes were very insightful and helped him towards the skills and knowledge that he has today.
Druse plans to stay connected to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app in the near future however the distance is something that is a little difficult for him to plan around as of right now.
