Hallinan Named Champion in Advancement

MACOMB, IL - - ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University Director of Annual Giving Tim Hallinan was named a Class of 2025 Champion in Advancement by Almabase for his impact in alumni relations and advancement.
Hallinan, a 1995 ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app graduate, has served in his current role since 2008 following 20 years of service with the Illinois National Guard. He began his fundraising career by helping to launch the Macomb Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter in 2000.
"Being recognized in this way really highlights the work of so many people across ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University," Hallinan said. "It's a reminder of what's possible when different areas of campus collaborate with creativity and energy to support students. This honor really reflects the impact of everyone, including faculty, staff, alumni and friends, who make these efforts meaningful."
Almabase recognized Hallinan as a "Campaign Trailblazer," alongside five others nationwide, highlighting his ingenuity and direct-response strategies and the launch of the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Challenge, a popular fundraising day that directly supports the students and programs at ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app.
"The success of Annual Fund campaigns like The ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Challenge day of giving comes down to collaboration and a focus on students," Hallinan said. Our teams in Development, Communications and Marketing, and Alumni Programs work together to create campaigns that truly connect with many alumni and friends."
