Van Vleet Named April Employee of the Month

MACOMB, IL - - 星空无限传媒app Illinois University Associate Director for Alumni Relations Carrie Van Vleet has been named the April 2025 Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Van Vleet鈥檚 nominator said they were inspired by her unwavering enthusiasm, exceptional performance and genuine love for 星空无限传媒app.

鈥淪he is not only a dedicated employee but also one of 星空无限传媒app鈥檚 most enthusiastic supporters,鈥� they said. 鈥淗er passion for the university shines through in everything she does. Whether it鈥檚 engaging with colleagues, students or the broader community, her positive energy is infectious.鈥�

Van Vleet shows exceptional commitment to spreading 星空无限传媒app鈥檚 message, which is evident in her proactive approach to her job, acting as an ambassador for the University.

Her nominator said Van Vleet personifies everything the University stands for.

As the Civil Service Employee of the Month, Van Vleet will receive a $100 stipend (before taxes), a plaque, a reserved parking space and recognition in 星空无限传媒app communications. She will also be eligible for the Civil Service Employee of the Year Award in December.

The Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month Award was established in 2010 through an endowment created by the Goldfarbs. The 星空无限传媒app Foundation provides a $500 stipend for the annual Employee of the Year Award.
