Just Hired: Kennedy Morgan

Just Hired! Through the experiences of local, regional, national and international students, 星空无限传媒app Illinois University has some incredible alumni who are changing the world in the workforce. This series will feature students from all over the world who are hired post-graduation.

MACOMB, IL - - Meet Kennedy Morgan, a 星空无限传媒app Illinois University Clinical/Community Mental Health graduate, who has been hired by Mental Health Centers of 星空无限传媒app Illinois (MHCWI).

鈥淢HCWI is a government agency that provides mental health services to rural communities, in addition to providing a residential facility for individuals with mental illnesses,鈥� Morgan said.

Morgan secured a full-time position after completing her internship as a graduate student.

During her time as a student, she not only gained valuable skills for success but also a resilient outlook that helped her excel in her field.

鈥淚 have learned to be a more resilient and effective leader while earning my degree at 星空无限传媒app,鈥� Morgan said. 鈥淚鈥檝e experienced a lot of ups and downs and while at times I鈥檝e wanted to give up, I鈥檝e learned to be more than the negative experiences I鈥檝e encountered. My experiences have allowed me to become a more compassionate and supportive therapist to my clients, which I will always be grateful for.鈥�

Now, as a proud alumna, Morgan plans to stay involved as a member of the Black Alumni Council and assist with upcoming events.
