MACOMB/MOLINE, IL 鈥 星空无限传媒app Illinois University has been named to the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society Transfer Honor Roll, recognizing the University鈥檚 ongoing commitment to supporting transfer students.
鈥淲e are honored to once again be named to the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Roll,鈥 星空无限传媒app Associate Director of Admissions & Director of Transfer Services Kassie Daly said. 鈥淎t 星空无限传媒app Illinois University, we take pride in our transfer-friendly admissions practices, which make 星空无限传媒app an excellent destination for students completing their bachelor鈥檚 degrees. This recognition highlights our continued commitment to supporting transfer students through streamlined credit evaluation, generous scholarship opportunities and financial aid resources.鈥
The PTK Transfer Honor Roll recognizes 251 colleges and universities nationwide for the dynamic pathways they create to support transfer students. The honor roll is determined using 40 key metrics related to the support and success of transfer students, including college cost and financial aid, campus life, admissions practices and bachelor鈥檚 degree completion.
The recognition is based on analysis from the National Student Clearinghouse and data submitted through the institution鈥檚 PTK Connect profile, an online tool designed to help students identify colleges and career pathways. Colleges completing the profile receive a Transfer Friendliness Rating, with the Honor Roll awarded to those ranking in the top 25% nationally.
This year鈥檚 Honor Roll institutions reported:
- An average of 56% of their undergraduate population as transfer students
- An average 75% bachelor鈥檚 degree completion rate among transfer students
- An average of 81% of credits accepted toward a degree major and/or plan
- An average of 74% of transfer students receiving merit-based financial aid
