Purple & Gold Points Encourages Students to get Involved Around Campus

MACOMB, IL - - 星空无限传媒app Illinois University鈥檚 Office of Student Engagement (OSE) is excited to announce the launch of the new Purple & Gold Points initiative, rewarding students for their involvement on campus.

The new program encourages students to attend a variety of registered events around campus to earn points and turn them in for prizes at the OSE office on the first floor of the University Union.

The amount of points awarded per event are broken into three tiers:


  • 100 points: Academic, Educational and Fine Arts events

  • 50 points: Athletic, Service and Health & Wellness events

  • 25 points: Social Programs and Campus Traditions.



When enough points have been accumulated, they can be redeemed for exclusive prizes ranging from 星空无限传媒app-themed mugs, tumblers, keychains, hats, headphones, unique experiences around campus and even a PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch 2.

Students can browse upcoming opportunities to earn points by visiting the and filtering by the Purple & Gold Points tag.

Purple & Gold Points can be earned immediately, so join in and show your Leatherneck pride by supporting all the organizations and events on campus.
