Putting the Double in W

MACOMB, IL - - For twins Kaylee and Renee Blunier, they each bring their own personalities and differences to the table despite being identical twins.

鈥淲e are each other's support systems,鈥� Renee said. 鈥淚f we get different scores, that doesn鈥檛 mean one of us is better than the other, it鈥檚 just who we are.鈥�

Both Renee and Kaylee are Music majors at 星空无限传媒app. They play different instruments and they look at competition between other people, not each other. When asked a challenge of having a multiple, they narrowed a big one down to people always expecting them to be the same for everything.

鈥淎lways having the same person right next to you 24/7 is actually awesome,鈥� Renee said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 like asking yourself a question but getting a real life answer from you.鈥�

As the Blunier twins navigate through life, having each other and being able to depend on someone so alike relieves a little bit of stress along the way. Although having their own different personalities, they also consider themselves very similar.

鈥淚 couldn鈥檛 imagine my life without her honestly,鈥� Renee said. 鈥淎lways having someone there for you, having a built-in best friend and so on.鈥�

Like the Blunier twins, Kirsten and Marissa Bliefnick agree that when having a multiple, some have a hard time understanding that they are their own person and have their own personality.

鈥淲e grew up with similar hobbies but found different interests as we got older which differentiated ourselves from one another,鈥� a Bliefnick twin said.

Something that they do enjoy about having a multiple is that it鈥檚 like having a built-in best friend. One twin considers themselves an introvert and the other considers themself an extrovert.

Kirsten is pursuing a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration while Marissa is obtaining a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Biology and participates in the marching band.
