鈥淭he opportunity to attend the Colloquium on Latinos in the United States was priceless,鈥 Albarrac铆n said. 鈥淚 was able to share my research findings with colleagues from across the hemisphere and gain valuable input on my work. This is one reason why I love my job. And as a scholar of Latin America, I was amazed by the Cuban people鈥檚 resilience and determination to endure in a regime that combines a state-run system with capitalistic features.鈥
While visits to Cuba by American academics have become more common in recent years, they remain relatively rare. Albarrac铆n鈥檚 participation in the Colloquium highlights the high level of scholarly engagement among 星空无限传媒app faculty and the University鈥檚 commitment to advancing international academic collaboration.
