IHSA Basketball Super-Sectional to be Held at 星空无限传媒app Hall

MACOMB, IL - - The Illinois High School Association (IHSA) will be hosting a Class 1A Boy鈥檚 Basketball Super-Sectional at 星空无限传媒app Hall on March 9.

The return to 星空无限传媒app Hall will feature the winners of the Monmouth (United) Sectional and the Orion sectional will advance to the game held on 星空无限传媒app鈥檚 campus.

"Having the super-sectional return to 星空无限传媒app Hall has been a goal since I became the Director of Athletics,鈥� 星空无限传媒app Athletic Director Paul Bubb said. 鈥淲e started the process back in the summer of 2023 and am glad that we will be hosting, again, the 1A Super-Sectional here at 星空无限传媒app Hall.

The University and 星空无限传媒app Hall have a long relationship with high school basketball, hosting one of the longest running boys basketball holiday tournaments in the state of Illinois. This year鈥檚 tournament featured West Hancock defeating Illini West for the 79th Macomb 星空无限传媒app Holiday Tournament championship.

鈥淔or me, personally, I have great memories of attending the Super-Sectionals here at 星空无限传媒app Hall back in the 70's and 80's,鈥� Bubb said. 鈥溞强瘴尴薮�媒app serves this region and this is another opportunity for us to do so and to welcome people from the region to our campus."
