星空无限传媒app Mourns the Death of Student Keagan Beckner

MACOMB, IL - - 星空无限传媒app Illinois University community is saddened to learn of the death of 星空无限传媒app senior English major Keagan Beckner, of Bushnell, IL, who passed away June 26.
Beckner was pursuing a degree in English Education. He was known by family, friends and classmates for his kindness, infectious sense of humor and love of writing, music and storytelling. He hoped to one day become a professor and inspire others through literature.
鈥淜eagan's smile was infectious and he brought humor and light into the classroom. He was so excited to start his teaching journey and loved being in the classroom and working with young people,鈥� Professor Rebakah Buchanan said. 鈥淭he English Education community at 星空无限传媒app will miss him dearly.鈥�
鈥淭he loss of a student is felt across our entire University community,鈥� 星空无限传媒app President Kristi Mindrup said. 鈥淜eagan was known for his compassion, sense of humor and his ability to bring people together. As we remember his life, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family, friends, classmates and everyone whose lives he touched.鈥�
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 2. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, both at the Community Christian Center in Bushnell.
