MACOMB, IL -- Tara Beal, superintendent of grounds-landscape maintenance at 星空无限传媒app Illinois University, has been named the 星空无限传媒app April Civil Service Employee of the Month.
According to her nominator, "Tara has done an exceptional job in beautifying the 星空无限传媒app campus. This has been accomplished by her landscape designs using a diverse selection of appropriate plant material which emphasizes school colors, as well as native plants."
"She is an invaluable contributor to 星空无限传媒app horticulture classes, and she is always available when called upon to present lectures and fill in for instructors. Every year Tara organizes two 鈥淲e Care campus beautification events, which require significant planning, and she has been actively involved in making 星空无限传媒app a 'sustainable鈥� campus," her nominator added.
Beal was hired in November 2000 an assistant groundskeeper and in March 2005, she was promoted to campus planner I. She was reclassified to campus planner II in February 2006 and named to her current position in February 2008.
"Tara is to be commended for her work and for her dedication to 星空无限传媒app," said Wendi Mattson, Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) public relations representative.
