Campus Violence Prevention Plan
ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University has developed the following Campus Violence Prevention Plan (CVPP) that employs a multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional approach to violence prevention strategies and includes the formation of a Campus Violence Prevention Committee (CVPC) and a Campus Threat Assessment Team (TAT) to address aberrant, dangerous, or threatening behavior on campus. This plan applies to all members of the campus community.
Consistent with the Campus Security Enhancement Act of 2008 (110 ILCS 12/1 et seq.) and its companion rules at Campus Threat Assessment Team (29 Ill. Admin. Code § 305.80), the CVPP includes the University’s threat assessment policy and objectives, a description of the University’s CVPC, a description of the University’s Emergency Consultation Team, Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), and Threat Assessment Team, and a list of the University’s policies, programs, and resources related to violence prevention.
