The mission of the 星空无限传媒app Illinois University Student Government Association is to promote the general welfare of students through the representation of their concerns, viewpoints, and interests regarding governance issues to the administration and faculty of our distinguished University. Through this service, the Student Government Association strives to improve the quality of academic and co-curricular experiences at 星空无限传媒app Illinois University and provide developmental opportunities for its members.
Hello, Leathernecks!
My name is Jace Green, and I am honored to serve as your Student Government Association (SGA) President for the 2025鈥�2026 academic year. I am a senior majoring in Agribusiness with a minor in Communications, and I could not be more excited to help lead our student body as we embark on another year at 星空无限传媒app Illinois University (星空无限传媒app).
College is a time filled with opportunity 鈥� a chance to discover your passions, create lifelong connections, and leave a meaningful impact on our campus community. As your SGA, our mission is simple: to serve and advocate for you. We are here to amplify your voice, work alongside faculty and administration, and ensure 星空无限传媒app remains a place where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.
My own journey at 星空无限传媒app has been shaped by involvement. Coming here as a freshman, I was not sure exactly where I was going to fit in. But through student organizations, leadership experiences, and especially my time in SGA, I鈥檝e learned that growth happens when you step out of your comfort zone. SGA has given me the opportunity to represent students, push for positive change, and build connections that I will carry far beyond my time at 星空无限传媒app.
Beyond SGA, I have been privileged to be a part of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, the 星空无限传媒app Cross Country and Track and Field teams, and many clubs within our School of Agriculture and university. Building connections with peers and alumni with professional experience has been the most enriching part of my time at 星空无限传媒app.
If I can give you one piece of advice, it鈥檚 this: get involved. Attend the Student Organization Fair, join a club, or even start something new. 星空无限传媒app has so many opportunities to find your place and make your mark. Some of the best friendships and experiences of my college career came from taking that first step to get engaged.
