New Student and Family Programs
New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) provides various services and areas of support that assist students toward a successful transition into the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University community. These services include Leatherneck Launch (New Student Orientation) during fall, spring and summer which is designed to introduce new students to ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app. New Student and Family Programs also develops resources and support for Leatherneck family members and special student populations.

Mission:
The New Student and Family Programs office focuses on the experiences of new students (Freshman and Transfer) and other specialized populations (First Generation, Commuter) as they enter ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½app Illinois University. We strive to ensure a smooth transition by offering tailored support and resources for students and their parents/families. We provide guidance, information and programs to enhance new students’ understanding of campus life to aid in their success within the Leatherneck community.
Vision:
To create a strong sense of belonging for new students and their families by providing comprehensive support and programs.
